Welcome to my page! If you're looking to add that extra spark to your essays, need help studying for that upcoming test, or just need help understanding the great American novel, look no further! As a college level writing tutor, I assisted students with their class assignments at any stage of the writing process: pre-writing/idea generating, outlining ideas and setting up paragraphs, and proofreading rough drafts and final copies. As an English major, I've read my share of 'classics' and, I'll admit, I had some trouble understanding some of what the author was really trying to say. As your tutor, I will do my best to make sure that you are able to 'pick out' the real meaning of the text in order to accurately respond to almost any test question. In addition to the college age crowd, I have worked as a summer camp counselor for four summers and love working with kids. Most recently, I ran the photography and darkroom program at camp and taught the kids some basic photography shooting techniques, as well as all the steps included in developing film the old fashion way in a chemical darkroom.
